Who we are
Island Homeschool is a small, local community created to bring homeschooling families together. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and safe place for families to connect, share resources and ideas, swap materials, and learn from one another.
We believe learning is even better when families have opportunities to come together. Through group activities and shared experiences, children can inspire one another, build friendships, practice cooperation, and learn how to work together in a positive group setting.
Most importantly, membership in Island Homeschool is completely free. Families simply choose which activities they would like to participate in and are responsible for any personal costs associated with those activities, such as admission, supplies, food, or other individual expenses.
We’re simply local homeschooling families helping other homeschooling families connect, share, learn, and grow together.

What you need to know
Island Homeschool uses WhatsApp to keep group conversations, updates, and reminders separate from your personal texts. You can mute the group without silencing your phone, check messages when convenient, and participate as much or as little as you’d like. 🌴
